I love to spend time with family and friends. A great evening for me is spent with good food, great conversation and a great bottle of wine. I am very adventurous and love to try new things. After graduating from university and getting married my husband and I decided to move to South Korea and teach English. It was a great opportunity for us. Since then we have travelled to more than 18 countries. I love meeting new people and sharing my experiences as well as learning from others. I love taking pictures and scrapbooking. A scrapbook is a great creative way to tell a story and after travelling to so many exciting places my husband and I have some great stories! I am looking forward to sharing my experiences with you! Sincerely, Lindsay

I have been an elementary school teacher for more than 20 years. For the past 6 years I have taught ESL to students in grades 1 to 8. I have found that I become involved with the families of the children I teach, providing interpreters, explaining our Ontario school system and helping them access community supports. I have also mentored other teachers and given many workshops to colleagues. I most enjoy working with individuals or small groups so that I can plan activities that match their needs. Everyone has a way of learning that best suits them and it's fun and rewarding to teach using methods that match one's style of learning. I love teaching ESL because it's an opportunity for me to learn about other countries, cultures and languages. I look forward to meeting new and interesting people and sharing some of my expertise with them. Sincerely, Margaret |

I love spending time in my kitchen either cooking or baking. I enjoy reading, creative writing, and spending time with friends and family. I caught the travel bug at an early age! I have enjoyed cities in the UK, Germany, and Austria. I have traveled to Australia several times and lived there for all of 2005. The sunny beaches of Hawaii were awesome and I loved dim sum in Hong Kong! This past summer my husband and I spent our first wedding anniversary in Canada’s beautiful east coast. |

My teaching experience covers a wide array of subjects, levels and venues. I have taught both children and adults. I have had the pleasure of teaching English overseas, and have traveled extensively. This has given me an understanding of the challenges of traveling and living in a country where the language spoken is not your own. It has also provided me with first hand knowledge of the language skills needed to live, work, or travel abroad. I have a passion for lifelong learning and strive to impart that on all of my students. I believe learning a new language should be a fun and enriching process. Throughout my teaching experience I have come to realize that every student is different, and therefore I tailor every lesson to meet the needs of each individual student. I look forward to helping you meet your English language goals! Regards, Glenna

I am a certified teacher in Ontario, Canada and in 1995 and 1996 I had a wonderful experience teaching English to adults and children at a private institute in Kwangju, South Korea. I like to motivate and challenge students, both young and old, to life-long learning and intellectual growth. Being a teacher means leaving your students better than they were when you first met them. I look forward to meeting you and together we can create a plan to best suit your needs. Sincerely, Daniel B |

I have had the privilege of teaching English with the Public School system in South Korea, between 2006 and 2007. This experience helped me appreciate a wide range of English speaking ability, and helped me develop a different approach to the various levels. |

This is a loaded question, and must be divided into subgroups. Travelling: I love travelling, anywhere and anytime. So far I’ve been to South Korea, Japan, China, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Venezuela, and Trinidad and Tobago. I would like to visit Europe, and Tanzania (I want to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro). Other extracurricular activities: reading, playing the piano, gardening, camping, hiking, sketching, spending time with friends, and meeting new people. |

I have taught in traditional & untraditional classrooms but I really like teaching in a cyber-classroom. The most important part of any educational experience is that what is being learned is tailored for the learner. It is with this philosophy in mind that we will work together to create the lessons that will provide you with what you most need to & want to learn. Your success is my success. Partnering with my husband, I am the owner/operator of my own business & have the knowledge to help you with practical business skills. I also have marketing, customer service, retail, hospitality & decorating experience. I look forward to meeting you and helping you with whatever English language skills you would like to learn; contact me to schedule your lesson. I hope to hear from you soon. Sincerely, Stacey |
