1) Q: Do you offer private or group classes?

A: All our online english courses are private one-to-one lessons. You will have plenty of time to ask questions and practice your English skills while learning English with your teacher.

 

2) Q: Where are you ESL teachers from?

A: Our ESL teachers are mainly from North America . They all have extensive experience teaching English as a second language (ESL) online and in classroom situations. Most of our teachers have taught English in their own country and other places around the world. Al of our teachers speak English as a first language.

 

3) Q: Do you offer support in any language other than English?

A: Currently we can offer support in Japanese and English. But we will try to help you with any problem you might have to the best of our ability.

A: Our students are from everywhere around the world. We have many students from Asia, Latin America, Eurpe and quite a few from North America (Quebec and business people living in the U.S.A or Canada for work).

A: Any level English learner is welcome at Skype English School. We can teach beginners important skills, help to refine Intermediate students abilities, and fine tune Advanced learners proficiency

 

7) Q: How long are the classes and what are the available times?

A: Lessons last 50 minutes. ESL Classes are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We always will try to find a private teacher that can accommodate your scheduling needs

 

8) Q: Can I change my English teacher?

A: Yes, all our online English courses are desed so you can have a different teacher each lesson if you wanted, or try a few different teachers before you decide on one you want to work with all the time. 

On the other hand If you want to stay with the same teacher just schedule your lesson ahead of time or arrange your next lesson with the teacher at the end of the English lesson.

A: Our ESL lessons are completely customizable because each lesson is private we try to teach what each student wants to learn. We do use text books if students want to or we can set up a more student specific program. Most of the curriculum is decided in the first lesson between the student and the teacher

 

10) Q: How is taking an online English lesson different from a traditional ESL classroom lesson?

A: One of the biggest differences with an online ESL lesson is you don’t have to leave your own house or even get dressed if you don’t want to. There is also a great deal of flexibility in the lesson schedule and the cost for a private lesson is much more affordable than most traditional English Schools.

A: Lessons must always start on time. If you are late you will lose the time that you missed because the teacher quite often has another student waiting to start after you and can’t be late.

A: If you want homework or to prepare for your next online lesson please tell your teacher when you start learning with them and they will make sure you have self study materials or homework

 

13) Q: Do I need a high-speed internet connection?

A: YES it would be preferable to have a high-speed connection.

 

14) Q: Do I need to download any special computer programs?

A: Yes you need to Download Skype. Skype is a software free application that lets you talk over the Internet for free. Skype is very easy to download. The sound quality is excellent and is generally as clear as a telephone or even better.

 

15) Q: Do I need any hardware accessories?

A: Yes you need a headset with a built in microphone. You can also get a Web camera but this is optional. All of our teachers will have their web camera on during lessons but students don’t have to.
